Hey Chels!
What up!  Technically I’m not writing in here yet, just saying a little introduction.  So… this will be the nb/book club part of the nb.  I mean, the regular notebook portion of the nb.  Have fun and happy reading!

Book finished: The Short Life of Bree Tanner

I wasn’t really super impressed with this one.  There were parts that I liked about it, hearing the other side and how the vampires were created.  I wish she would have included Victoria and Riley killing Diego (who I suspected was the one burning in the living room), why they killed him, what Diego and Riley were talking about when Riley killed him, etc.  I also wish that the fight would have been scarier, instead it was almost over by the time Bree got there.  Otherwise, I really liked Bree.  For a newborn, she was very perceptive and was smart enough to trust her own instincts instead of blindly following Riley like everyone else.

I want to make a note and say that not every book that I read is going to make it to the book club nb.  But for the books that I read, I will write a little review of it and what I thought of it.  I will of course put the author so you can decide for yourself if you want to read it.  I got a lot of different genres including poetry and autobiographies.  The ones that I thought I would have the most fun discussing with you or I really wanted to see what you would think of them are the ones I added to the list.  I have a feeling I’m going to need more room.  Ooh and I finally got the last PLL book!
