What a crazy couple of nights it's been. Seriously. I'm spending way too much money and it needs to stop. Tonight I have to go to a birthday for my friend Alex. It's his 40th birthday. He's one of the Karaoke hosts. Anyway, so remember the brothers Aaron and Mason I was telling you about in the letter? I'm sure you do, we just did a tarot reading for it. I'm going to retell you the background story again. About 4 months after David and I separated, I was living with my dad of course, and Erin found out that they had karaoke at the Applebee's by me. So, we went one Friday. I was wearing this really pretty pink tank top with sequins on it. I don't have it, or the awesome jeans I wore that night. I'm not sure what i did with them. I wish I had pictures from that night!
Anyway, we were flirting with the karaoke guy and dancing all sexylike and whatnot. Then I saw this guy. There were two black guys sitting on either side of him, so he was in the middle. Later, I found out they were Jamacian. I don't remember their names. I also don't remember how this guy and I started talking but his name was Aaron and Erin (haha) and I ended up meeting Aaron and his friends at the billiards place. It was fun and I got his number. But then I didn't call him for a while. I think it was mostly because I was involved with Devin and I still thought maybe David and I could work our shit out. But then summer came and so much had happened so I called Aaron. So we hung out at this place called Swamp Grass Willies. It was kind of a date thing. He treated me like a queen and everything and I ran scared. Of course. I wouldn't be me if I didn't. I even went as far as to try and hook Erin and Aaron up. Of course, she threw herself at him. He wasn't into her so she started hating him. Same old shit.
So, then around the holidays that year, 2009 I think, Aaron's brother Mason came to visit. I don't think that's when I decided I liked Mason as more than a friend. But I obviously thought he was cool and I enjoyed hanging out with him. Then he went home. That same year, we invited Aaron to come hang out with us but he was going to some work party. So, Erin decided we should play a joke on him and tell him Kendall was there. Kendall was this girl that he'd met at one of our karaoke functions that he liked. So, he was going to come just to see her, which pissed us off and a fight ensued.
Then, at the beginning of 2010 Erin and I weren't speaking over a guy and I apologized to Aaron. A few weeks later we almost slept together but Jimmy (this guy I'd almost gotten involved with) sent me a text wanting me to take a cab to come see him. I text him back saying nope and I'm with Aaron. The moment is ruined and Aaron takes me home. We still hung out but... it was almost more "friends only" based. At Erin's party last year Aaron came after we got kicked out of the pool. I kissed him while I was topless (um silly party topless rule). It was real nice. But then he left and things went back to the way they were before. Mason came to visit that summer. On my wedding anniversary, I filled out my paperwork and had my friend Christen notarize them. Then, we hung out with Aaron and Mason at the beach. Christen went off with Aaron and I went with Mason. We didn't kiss or makeout or anything. We just watched the night sky and talked. It was nice. I did kiss him when we got home because he asked me to. LOL. Oh, before we all went to the beach we were at Quarterdeck for karaoke. It was supposed to be my "pre-divorce" party but no one really came and those that did preferred karaoke over celebrating with me so whatever. Anyway, so yeah we'd been drinking when we went to the beach. Later that summer, Mason came over to watch Alice in Wonderland with me and we started making out. Well, it got to the point where we went out to by condoms cuz Mason didn't have any and neither did Aaron. (yes, Mason actually called Aaron to ask for condoms. At the time Aaron lived in the neighborhood behind mine and you had only to crawl under the fence to get to the other side. I'll video it. Lmao).
So, then Mason went back to Hawaii and we talk every once in a while and there's always some innuendo of what's going to happen when he comes home. Like, "can't wait to "watch" Alice in Wonderland with you!" that kinda thing. In the meantime, I've been HARDCORE trying to hang out with Aaron all these months and I finally just got to hang out with him a couple weeks ago. Alright, I have written so much and I am tired so, more manana! Love you.
