Happy hump day! My mom left this morning. She was here 4 days. That’s longer than she ever stays. I still need clothes but at least I got some bras! It has been months since I had a bra! Now I have 2, and they fit! Yay! I also got a pedicure, my eyebrows done, and a hair cut. I’m not sure why she preferred all that knowing I need clothes, but I am thankful. My hair is cute. Very short but it’s fitting. I feel pretty. I want it long, but it was so unhealthy so it’s like starting over. It’s supposed to be shorter in the back and swing down in the front but the picture was dramatic and I didn’t want it so long in the front so the stylist said she’d cut it shorter in the front. Now, it just looks like a basic “bob” but that’s ok. Everyone but my dad likes it. he just likes long hair, but oh well. It’s my hair! Lol! Besides, it grows. Anyway, I’m glad my dad is ok. He’s still coughing up blood though. He has no real doctor anymore so we never really could find out what was going on with him. He does have Dr Kelso but she just works in the walk-in clinic and doesn’t have the option of hospital calls. Still, maybe since he’s out of the hospital, he’ll go see her. Who knows with him.
I’m waiting for him to get two flash drives so I can put last year’s (actually earlier this year…) pictures of him in the racecar on them and send them to my half sisters. After that, I can delete some pictures finally and start on the really fun parts of this nb kind of. I can do my vlogs and reviews for you, as well as the fashion pictures. I don’t have new cute clothes, but I think I’ll figure it out. I actually can’t wait until I do figure it out. I may not have a lot of clothes, but I will and I’ve been using what little I’ve got to be cute! lol. In other news, I have two new bibles studies to do. One is “Birds in my mustard tree” which will help my faith grow. That is the one I’m working on now. The other is primarily in the book of Daniel in the bible, to help with Faith under pressure. I can’t go to BSF this year (bible study fellowship) so I’m doing my own. I miss going but Carolyn can’t take me anymore. She has too much going on in her life, so when I drive I’ll go, all by myself. In the meantime, word of God and my bible study! The first one I’m doing is six weeks long, and the next one is 10 weeks. Hopefully I’ll have a job and can buy a new one by the time I finish. But yea, I guess I should just concentrate on one at a time haha.
Other things I’m working on:
1. Getting a job
2. Not avoiding, but being honest with people
3. my relationship with Brian
4. Not being scared to do things
5. NBS :)
6. reading my books
7. paying attention so I understand (politics)
8. my confidence (goes with 4!)
9. getting a driver’s license
10. my attitude
11. my diet!
You know, I just want to be happy with myself so that means deciding to be happy. I need to start eating better. My mom and I watched this Dr Oz episode about what kind of food lifestyle to have according to body type. My mom and I are both apple shapes because we carry all our weight in the middle (our stomachs) so we would need a low glycemic diet. So foods I should be eating include: {no foods listed}.
As another part of my health I’m hanging up new affirmations to repeat every day in my bathroom. So I’ve been writing them down and I found these:
1. I am successful and victorious.
2. I have an attitude of gratitude.
3. I fulfill my destiny in good health
4. I know my best days are in front of me.
5. People now come into my life that bring me to another level--up up UP!
6. I smile with emotion
7. It is not my destiny to keep struggling
8. A big harvest is coming my way. It is my time to reap what I’ve sown.
9. I expect my every need to be met.
10. I expect good health to last until the end.
11. Smile, smile smile!
12. I am healthy
13. I do good, feel good, and smile!
14. I now express feelings of love, joy, happiness, and excitement.
15. I smile and expect the best.

17. I am feeling and conceiving on the inside, so I can achieve on the outside.
18. All my body systems are A-ok.

I may do bible verse ones at some point as well. I was going to do that tonight, but I feel like I’m not sure how to go about it. I think I can look up bible verses according to these keywords:
--acceptance
--child
--plans
--strength
--love
--patience
--fear
--anxiety
--pressure
faith.
Hmmmm. Ok here goes:
1. “In an acceptable time, I have heard you. And in the day of salvation, I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 1 Corinthians 6:2
2. “Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:5-6.
3. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
4. “Say to those who are fearful hearted: Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come, with vengeance with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.” Isaiah 35:4
5. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
6. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
7. “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there.” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
8. “Now FAITH is the assurance of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see, and the conviction of their reality.”
9. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself, I am Lord. ~Leviticus 19:18
10. And now abide faith, hope, love these three, but the greatest of these is love.
So my affirmations would be those. I didn’t use all my key words but I think it’s ok. Anyway, I’m going to go!
<3,
me
