This was the first volume and it was really good. Although, some things were different than the show. No one died the way they did on the show but Carl did still shoot Shane. But he was just going crazy. The guy, Rick, woke up at the hospital and he was the only survivor. He went home and saw that his family wasn't there and found that black guy and his son. He went to Atlanta and found a horse to ride which got eaten by the zombies but before they could eat him, Glenn saved him. He got taken back to camp where he was reunited with his wife and kid. He kept telling Shane they had to move the camp and Shane kept saying they were safer there which they obviously weren't because zombies kept attacking them. That guy who beat his wife was dead thank goodness (he was my least favorite character ever). But Shane went crazy in the end and Carl shot him. It's making me wonder how backwards and forwards they went and if that gang of mexicans running that hospital is still going in the show and even written in the comic book. I guess I will find out.
