Hey Chels,
First off, I have some good news. Then I have some bad news. Which would you like first? Too bad, I'm going with BAD! Ha. Everyone seems to be annoying me today. Erin is annoying me because I said something about finding joy in every moment. Listen, I don't doubt that she is heart broken over missing her dad. That's going to take a LONG time to heal. But everyone is fighting a battle, and then the longer we are alive, the harder the fight. I have no doubt that her life is hard. But it doesn't mean that just because that happened to her and it didn't to a lot of other people that she gets to bitch and moan forever while everyone deals with their own stuff in their own way. I knew someone was going to have something to say about what I said. But it's one of the things that got me through what I've been battling and I think it applies to every situation.
And then my friend, Sarah. She of course is a big supporter of this Chic-fil-A guy and stands by what he said. So I interject with something and she doesn't even get the point of what I said. My whole point is that if he had just gone with the business aspect of it and kept his closed minded religous opinions to himself, it wouldn't even be as big a deal as people are making it. It's great to have your own beliefs, what ever they may be. But to discriminate openly against anyone is not only stupid, it's a bad career move. He may hate the "sin" of gay people, but who is he to judge anyone? Is he God? Hell NO! Then shut up and run your business and don't discriminate! Lol, ugh. Sorry, it just pisses me off when people say really shitty things and then try and cover it up with a bible verse. Judging people is ALSO a sin and can fit into one or more of the 7 deadly sins. I only judge people after they've pissed me off, lol.
I'm also annoyed because my mom was supposed to take my dad to get tests done yesterday but told me today that they are today and tomorrow he has 2. And I have to get ready so the good news will have to wait.
<3,
me
