Hey Sweets!
I know I haven't been writing in here as much. I think it's because I wanted to wait until I got your nb but now I'm thinking I better just fill you in, if I can remember everything. Let's see, Friday the 30th of September I saw Monique for the first time since Door County. We had a nice visit and went to this store in Richmond called Howl at the Moon. I had no idea there were any New Age stores around here and I've been to at least 5 since June. Evolve in Crystal Lake, Crystal Life in Geneva, Styx and Stonz in Hoffman Estates, and now Howl ATM. So 4 I guess, lol. Styx and Stonz and HATM are definitely my favorites. Oh and Stargazer in Door County. So yeah, 5! Haha. After we got back to Crystal Lake, Monique mentioned something about a healing spell for Barry. There was one I picked that involved threading dried berries. I did as much as I could but I either kept breaking the berries or poking myself. I did make a charm that I'm supposed to run over his head and then hang it on the highest point in his house (in the heart of his house, which I think is right above his bed). I just haven't been able to hang it yet. I am waiting until his cousin leaves. Or I just might be too chicken, lol.
But I must say that even though I haven't hung it up yet, it is already working. He is doing better. He's been getting to smoke pot so he hasn't been having any seizures or freaking out or anything. And the sex is improving also. It's always been good or whatever, but when he's had more energy he's paid attention to things that in the past couple months that he hasn't, like taking things slowly and not just pawing at me. Sometimes the pawing is okay but it's nice to know he hasn't forgotten how to be attentive. I think sometimes men forget that it doesn't take much to make us women happy, just put more than 5 seconds worth of effort into being with us. Lol.
Well, now's a good time for a break. BBS.

Okay so--
Saturday was so nice. This is October 1st now. Barry's cousin stayed the night at the office so we could spend the whole night together. It was so nice to just be able to be together and talk and laugh and make love without being interrupted. It had been a while since that happened, I guess you learn to appreciate things like that when circumstances don't allow it. Sunday I went to see The Help with my mom, which was great.

Sorry, I wanted to write but was too distracted. But anyhow, Monday I stayed at home and went with my mom to see 50/50. Oh, and I fixed up all of my jewelry so all my pendants have chains and everything. I can't wait to get your stuff so I can add to your charm bracelet and see if I can fix some stuff up for you. Let's see, Tuesday I went to that audition with Monique, Wednesday I rearranged my bookcase and now the bottom two rows of my bookshelf (book case, sorry) are FINALLY filled with ALL of my finished notebooks, including ours. That's why I was bugging you about the last nb I sent you, just wanted to copy all the diary parts, which is probably what I will end up doing here before I send this off (but I have already told you this). Thursday I got to see Barry! It was kind of strange, I didn't hear from him at all on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. But Thursday he actually asked me what I was up to later and we made a plan and it actually happened! Thursday was also the day I hung out with my cousin. I met her at the Starbucks in St Charles (the one in Geneva is 1,000,000x quieter) and we took our puppies for a walk around the park. You know, I think I am going to start taking her more places with me. She is always so happy to be outside. Thursday night was kind of weird, though. Chris was at the office again so Barry and I could be alone and the first part of the night was so sweet. We started off snuggling and I changed positions so we were spooning and he started to kiss me and trace my skin very lightly with his fingertips, which is something he hasn't done in a very long time. It was so nice, until we were done and his cousin called and said he wanted to come home. We finally got moving and called him but he didn't answer the phone so we just went home and as soon as I picked out a movie, Chris called. So we went back out to get him and finally returned home again. The rest of the evening wasn't bad, until morning. Chris left for a little bit. Barry and I were both getting ready to leave when Chris came back, but he wasn't alone. Apparently he had Korey with him, who was on a bike and was incredibly fascinated with his handle bars because he didn't even look up or say hi or anything. Who does that? You go over to someone's house, at least acknowledge that person's presence. It's not like he didn't know we were together. And since when is it wrong to spend the night at my BOYFRIEND'S house? Damn.
Oh, I forgot to write about Wednesday, the 5th. Three very weird things happened to me throughout the course of the day. I had to turn in my timesheet (did not want to be late again), so I went to the DHS office to turn it in. As I was headed out of the building, there were these 4 people in white button up shirts, red ties, and blue pants/skirts. I opened one of the doors just as someone else was reaching for it. I expected the guy to say something but he just opened the other door. Right when I said, "I'm sorry for scaring you," he turned to the woman behind him and said, "that scared me!" I was just like, "umm, I'm standing right here AND I apologized. Am I invisible?"
The next thing that happened was while I was at the library. My mom and I were walking towards the library and there was this black man with two young children walking towards us, towards the parking lot. There might be perfectly good explanations for this, but in order for it to be plausible they would have had to be RIGHT behind us, which they weren't (they didn't come in behind us). I went upstairs via the elevator (it took a minute for it to open). When I got on the 2nd floor I looked at the stairs and there the guy was with his two kids going down the stairs! They could have snuck in without me or my mom noticing, but I'm not so sure about that. I know it was the same kids, the girl had the same braids and the man was wearing the same shirt. There's just no way they could have gotten to the top of the stairs before me, just no way.
Also, my mom and I went to Jewel after that. On our way to the car we noticed that a shopping cart was in the middle of the aisle and cars were just driving around it. So my mom and I put the cart back in the cart coral and by the time it took us to back out, the cart was in the EXACT same place we saw it to begin with. Talk about fucking spooky!
Wow, I cannot believe that story took me nearly 2 whole days to write. Truly pathetic. So, Friday I mostly just hung out at home and went with my mom to the scarecrow festival. It was so stupid, my dad had his stroke club meeting so my mom wanted to wait for him to take a nap even though I knew that he wouldn't be joining us. So my mom waits till almost 6 and then takes the dog for a walk. I had said something about taking her with us but my mom wasn't having it. She has this almost obsessive fear of bringing my dog anywhere -- "oh no she might get hot/tired/have to pooh/bite someone/run away/get to excited/etc." I took her shopping with me yesterday and she was a great little traveler. I think my mom is so afraid of anyone getting broken she is too afraid to see for herself what a good dog Snickers is.
Anyhow, just as I suspected, my dad did not come with us. Not only that, but by the time we got there, the sun was already going down. Needless to say I was pretty annoyed. But when we got there my mom got me a huge candy apple to make up for it. I asked for one with nuts and apparently it was the first one with nuts they sold all day. But everywhere I walked, all I heard about was this candy apple so I'm pretty sure I got more business for them, lol.
The scarecrows were pretty lame but the food was amazing. I got an orange chicken on a stick with rice, omg yum! Since we missed the craft fair, my mom said we could go the next day (Saturday, Oct 8th). The venue was HUGE! Lots of stuff everywhere plus the yummiest chicken kabob and French fries (fresh cut) a girl could have. I saw a lot of cute stuff and also a LOT of crap and stuff I did not like. I found more feather stuff and I was going to come back but I wandered away and lost the booth.
After the fair I came home for 20 minutes and went straight to Alex's for her bonfire. Barry was supposed to come with me but he couldn't get away from work. I didn't want to say anything to anyone in case something like that happened. But I had a blast anyway. I talked to my friend Rachel and she asked me if I talked to Matt yet and I said no. She thought I should give him another chance because he is really a "great guy" or whatever. Plus she said that thing about how whenever people get in new relationships sometimes you see/hear less of them. She said that when Alex was with Andy she didn't hear from her a lot at first. And I said that yeah but that's because he wasn't a good guy and you were there when Danny (her husband now) proposed to her so it can't all be true. I get it when you're first in love with someone and want to spend as much time up their butt crack as you want to. But it's been almost a year and he hasn't spoken to me at all. He doesn't even leave comments after I do on Rachel's face book. He has never bothered texting me or anything since at last January. So, for a "great guy," he doesn't seem that great to me. So, it's not a matter of me giving HIM a second chance. He just doesn't WANT to be in my life. And that's perfectly fine with me. Phew, finally done. Well, for the time being, lol.
