Hey Chels!
Wow... I have to admit that it feels somewhat strange to be writing to you again.  I never thought we would be friends again, much less notebook pals.  I really thought I could wait until my birthday to start a fresh notebook but I had all these ideas in my head about what the next one should be like and things just sort of snowballed.  I thought, what would be more perfect than a yearbook type notebook?  A box to go with it, of course!  I have always loved putting things in boxes and tucking them away to come across them later.  Hell, I still do that.  I feel like this yearbook notebook has given us both a chance to do high school the way it should have been.  That's why I wanted the small notebooks, it would be easier to stow these in a shoebox than a regular sized notebook.  I can't wait to fill this up!
I have 36 days till my birthday.  I wonder how much I can fill up this thing before I get stuff to respond to.  I'm thinking I want to get a diary like this one for you as well in case you want to write in this kind of diary as well.  I've been doing this notebook thing for so long that sometimes it's nice to switch things up a bit.  I am loving this diary!  It is so purple!  I am a bit distracted right now so I'll write more a little later. Love!!
