Ah!  It feels so good to be all squeaky clean.  I just got out of the shower. Now I’m going to write a bit, then read and finally sleep. Tomorrow we will go see my sister Kimberlee in North Carolina.  I’m worried about my dad and all this driving.  Sure wish I drove at times like this.  I am determined to be a licensed driver soon.  Like, before I’m 27. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.
Man, it also feels good to be on a decent sized couch to sleep on.  I bet I’ll be overjoyed to have my bed back at home lol.
So my brother sent me a text message telling me how much Reegan and Riley loved their toys I got them.  It was surprisingly nice.

Ugh!  26 and my mom is making me shut the light out.

My poor dad is so tired of driving.  I feel so bad for not driving.  Well,I just offered to drive and he said no.  I think it would be fine.  I mean, the idea doesn’t even terrify me.  I am ready to get my license.  :).  I nearly went ballistic on my dad, but fortunately, I have learned the art of biting one’s tongue!  So, I finally finished my book despite the ringing phone and having to deal with directions which, let’s face it, I clearly don’t know where *I* am.  May as well be on another planet.
I want to be taking photos but it’s so hard to do in the car.  Luckily, I’m in NC so there should be some pretty stuff to see soon!  Tomorrow, I think is boat day so that should be good.
I came to a sort of morbid realization… A part of me wonders if he’s coming to see everyone as a final trip before he dies.  He’s been saying/doing a lot of stuff that concerns me lately. Like, looking into making funeral arrangements, telling me what he wants for me, and now suddenly he’s willing to travel all these places to see everyone.  I’m not really sure I’ll handle his death so well.

So, we are here. And so far?  It’s been SO FUN being with my sister.  We went to look at Habitat for Humanity and an antique store, but both were closed (I’m looking for a vanity),  Then, we all went to Outback for dinner.  So yummy!  Kim and I talked on her porch swing.
Tomorrow is boating day and now I am off to bed.
